i’m sorry and i hate doing this. my boyfriend and i are two trans people on the brink of homelessness. we spent all weekend calling our families and friends asking if they could help us with money and, in the worst case, with shelter if we got evicted and none of them can. i got a call from my landlords this morning subtly threatening me. we haven’t gotten a formal eviction notice yet but it’s halfway through the month and it’ll be coming soon. half of the rent is paid but the other half ($480) is missing. i’m not asking for that much, because it’s a lot, but my goal is $200 just to appease our landlords until we can get the rest of the money together.
